At 1010 hours, Leonardtown Volunteers along with Company’s 2, 7, 5 and Charles Co. 2 were alerted for a reported apartment fire at 28895 Point Lookout Road. The caller stated, something was burning in the kitchen area, and his apartment was filled with smoke. Engine 10 and Captain 1 arrived on location finding a one story apartment building with nothing showing from the alpha and bravo sides. After a 360 was complete, units found light smoke conditions and a small fire in apartment 8 on side Charlie. Engine 10's crew stretched a hand line to the apartment and extinguished a small fire. Engine 74, and Truck 7 assisted on the scene with opening up and checking for extension, as well as ventilating.
