At 16:55 Hours Rescue Box 7-09 was dispatched alerting Squad 1 to the intersection of Three Notch Road and Sotterley Road for the Motor Vehicle Accident reported serious with one unconscious. Squad 1, responded Captain with 6 men at the time of dispatch. Chief 7A arrived on scene confirming 1 patient trapped inside the vehicle with heavy extrication. Squad 7 arrived and began extrication operations. Engine 72, and Squad 1 arrived shortly after and assisted the Extrication group. All crews worked together and with the extensive heavy entrapment extrication was completed in just under 30 minutes of operation. Patient care was turned over to EMS on the scene and transported to Company 7's quarters were Trooper 7 and Engine 74 awaited their arrival to be air lifted to PG Shock Trauma. Engine 10 also assisted by filling in for Company 7 while units operated the Incident. All apparatus was restored and returned to service shortly after. Units returned to Company 7 for a short debrief of the incident and Squad 1 returned back to the first due afterwards. Engine 10 filled in at Company 7
