At approximately 5:45 the morning of Febuary 6th, Company 1 was alerted to Calvert county for a house fire at 11440 Rawhide rd. Engine 11 responded as well as Squad 1. Shortly after arriving Engine 11 was cleared from the scene and the units from Company one were asked to fill in for Solomons Company 3. While at Solomons the units from Company 1 responded to a second due reported chimney fire, but units were cancelled before arriving. Squad 1 cleared the stand by to handle a first due call, and shortly after Engine 11 handled a working chimney fire in Solomons first due. During our time at Company 3, Leonardtown personnel learned that the early morning fire was the house of one of the members of Solmons Island Company 3, and that it was in fact a total loss.
