St. Mary's Fire wins 1st annual Guns vs. Hoses Tournament

The St. Mary's Fire softball team won the 1st annual Guns vs. Hoses softball tournament with a dominating performance against the Charles County Sheriffs Office. The game ended after 6 innings as the St. Mary's Fire was ahead 14 - 0 and the run rule was put into play. The team which is comprised of members from Leonardtown, Holllywood and 7th District, played outstanding defense and hit well as a team, taking advantage of every situation. The team would like to thank the Olde Town Pub in Leonardtown for sponsoring and the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs for holding the tournament.
