On Wednesday July 15th, Crews loaded up and took Engine 14 to Leonardtown Middle School to visit with the yearly Camp DARE kids. Crews talked to the children attending, and gave a fire safety talk and provided information to better their knowledge about smoke detectors, home escape plans, and other emergency information. After the fire safety talk the children were showed gear and equipment that we use and explained how they are used and help protect us. They then enjoyed a cool down as they were sprayed down by Engine 14.
