Tanker, Engine, and Assistant Chief respond to Hollywood House Fire

At 1930 hours Tanker 14, Engine 10, and Chief 1A were alerted to 42523 Keith Court for the house fire as the second due company.

As units were responding communications advised all units that an attached garage was on fire, and they were receiving multiple calls. Captain 7 arrived on location with a one story single family dwelling with heavy fire. Chief 7B arrived on location and established the Keith Court Command. Hollywood Engine 73 was the first arriving Engine Company, laying a supply line from Keith Court and McIntosh Road, there unit then proceed to deploy and attack line to the seat of the fire. Tanker 14 arrived and was directed to report to the scene with hooks, and assist the Engine Company with opening up, and removing debris from the garage, so that the fire could be completely extinguished. Tanker 14 proceed to shuttle water from the water supply location, to the fire scene. Tanker 14 supplied a total of 4,000 gallons of water to the fire scene. Engine 10 arrived on location, and assisted in extending a hand line to the garage to hit hot spots. Both units assisted with extensive overhaul operations. Chief 1A was assigned the water supply officer by command.
