At 0135 hours Tanker 14 (6 Personnel) and Rescue Squad 1 (4 Personnel) were alerted to Hazelnut Lane in The Wildwood Subdivision for a reported house on fire. First Arriving units encountered a two-story single-family residence with heavy fire showing from all divisions in the rear. With Heavy fire conditions in the attic space, Tanker 14 was assigned to assist with fire attack and opening up for the engine companies already operating on the 2nd floor. Rescue Squad 1’s crew secured the gas and power to the residence, and was later assigned to Division 1 to assist with opening up and overhaul. While operating on Division 1 Rescue Squads crew reported that the secondary searches on the basement and 1st floor were completed with negative results. Chief 1 was assigned the Division1 supervisor. Company units returned to service at 0315 hours. Chief 9B held the Wildwood command.
