At 2130 hours, Tanker 14 (5 personnel), Truck 1 ( 5 personnel), Chief 1, and Chief 1A responded and operated in the 26500 block of Loveville Road for the building fire. Chief 7B arrived on location to find a commercial building with fire showing from the roof. Hollywood and Mechanicsville units arrived deploying handlines beginning an initial fire attack. Command requested an evacuation due to heavy fire and a partial roof collapse. Tanker 14’s crew and Chief 1 were assigned to the Charlie division working with a handline crew from mechanicsville. Truck 1 arrived on location setting up for a potential aerial master device however it was not needed. Crews from Tanker 14 and Truck 1 assisted with fire attack and opening up for the engine companies who had entered from the rear. Tanker 14 shuttled 2,000 gallons of water to the fire scene. Chief 7B held the Loveville Road Command.
