Rescue Squad 1 (6 personnel), Engine 10( 4 personnel), Chief 1A, and Chief 1B responded and operated on a reported serious MVA with subjects trapped at Rt.5 and St.Andrews Church Rd. Units arrived on scene finding a T-bone style crash with a passenger still trapped in the vehicle. Rescue Squad 1 stabilized vehicle and used the HURST Jaws of Life to pop the passenger door gaining access to the patient. Engine 10 arrived on location assisting EMS, and debris removal. One patient was ground transported to Capital Region Medical trauma Center for further evaluation. Chief 1B held the Point Lookout Rd Command.
