Units Take In Possible House Fire

At 1434 hours Companies 1, 7, 5, 2, 9, 19, and 59 were alerted to respond to 24040 Brubacher Lane, in Loveville for the reported house fire. Shortly after dispatch Engine 10 (Chief Scully) was responding. Communications advised responding units the caller reported to have smoke inside the residence. Engine 10 arrived on scene finding a two story residential home with smoke coming from the Chimney, establishing the command. After a short investigation of the interior, light smoke was found in the attic with no heat or extension.

At this time Command held units from Company 1, 7, 2, and the Ambulance from 19. Crews from 1 and 7 worked together to clean the chimney and ventilate the smoke from the residence without incident. Units restored there respected Apparatus and returned to service shortly after 1515 hours.
