Engine 10 Runs Second Due House Fire

At 1824 hours stations 7, 1, 9, 3, EMS 79, and EMS 19 were alerted to 43839 Mustang Ct in Hollywood fir the reported house on fire. Engine 10 under the direction of captain Padgett responded with for 4 volunteers.

Chief 7B was the first to arrive finding a 1 story single family dwelling with heavy fire. Engine 73 arrived next dropping a supply line at the hydrant at Mustang Ct, and Pinto Dr. Engine 73s crew then advanced a hose line to side “A” of the structure, knocking the bulk of the fire back, and making an interior attack. Engine 10 arrived picking up Engine 73s supply line, 10’s crew was signed the second Engine company duties. Engine 10’s crew advanced a hand line to side “C” knocking the fire, and protecting a shed that was exposed to heavy fire. Once the fire was knocked 10’s crew advanced the hand line into the structure to assist and back up Engine 73.

Truck 7 was assigned to positioning ladders, and conducting extensive overhaul. The fire was placed under control within 20 minutes from the time of dispatch. Chief 7B held the Mustang Ct command.
