On April 21 at approximately 2000 hours Squad 1 was released from a previous Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), to handle a MVA with one overturned. Along with Engine 10 and EMS Companies 19, 29, and the Medic Unit were alerted to the call. Squad 1 (Lt. Bell) arrived on the scene and confirmed one overturned and established the Command. After further investigation it was determined that it would be a single patient, who had self-extricated themselves and required only BLS care. At this time Command scaled the incident back to units from Company 1 and the first arriving BLS ambulance. Crews worked together to package the patient and secure the vehicle. The ambulance transported the patient and Command was then terminated and all units returned to service
