Harrow Hills Ct Shed Fire

At 3:04pm hours Company’s 2, 5, and 1 were alerted for a reported shed on fire on Mechanicsville RD. Engine 14 and Truck 1 made the quick response fully staffed. While in route fire board advised all units that there would be an address change. Fire board had received multiple calls that the new location of the fire would be off of Harrow Hills Ct.

Engine 24 and Tanker 2 arrived to find a 20x20 shed well off. Engine 24s crew deployed there 200 foot 1 ¾ cross lay, making the initial attack on the fire, Tanker 2 supplied them with water. Engine 14 was next to arrive, there crew was advised to stretch the 400 foot 1 ¾ attack line to the rear of the structure, extinguishing fire as they made a push. All Crews assisted with overhaul, and clean up. Chief 2B held the operations, while Sgt. 2 established the command. With the quick work off all crews units were back in quarters at 4:16pm hours.
