Engine and Truck Taken in Possible House Fire

At 21:13 hours Engine Company’s 5, 1, 2, 7, and truck 1 were alerted to the 37000 block of Bushwood Wharf Rd. Engine Company 14, and Truck Company 1made the response with a total of 12 personnel. During the Initial dispatch fire board advised all units that the caller had reported fire coming from the top of the wood stove, with extension into the walls.

Engine 52, and Chief 5 arrived on location finding a 1 story single family residents, with only smoke coming from the chimney. With, further investigation Engine 52’s crew was about to locate a small fire, that had surfaced in the walls, with a possible chimney fire. Upon, arrival all other units were advised to stage in the Captain Sam’s parking lot (Engine 14 staged). Truck 1, proceed to the scene, setting up lighting, and ventilation. At this time Chief 5 scaled the assignment back holding it with Companies 5, and 1. Engine Company 14 proceeded to the scene assisting with minimal overhaul, and clean up.
