At 17:02 Chief 2 arrived on location finding a 30x30 barn well off, and requested additional tankers which added Engine 14 to the working fire assignment. Engine 14 made the run with 7 volunteers and the Deputy Fire Chief.

Engine 14 arrived on location and immediately, and began supply Engine 24, and helping establish a continuous water supply. While on the scene Engine 14 supplied two, 2,000 gal tanks of water to the scene. Engine 14’s crew began operating on the fire scene removing tin siding from the exterior, in order to make extinguishment easier for the linemen. Engine 14’s crew utilized a hand line off Engine 24 to conduct extensive overhaul operations. Due to the structural integrity of the structure crews were not able to make an aggressive interior attack. The initial attack was made by Engine 24s crew, great job by all crews who operated on the 2-10 box.
