February was a busy month for Company 1. During the month of February, volunteers responded to 95 calls for service and our members were up to the task. Units responded to a variety of calls including auto accidents, building fires, automatic fire alarms, ambulance assist, animal rescues, mutual aid to neighboring companies and many involving broken and frozen water pipes. It should be noted that none of the frozen pipe alarms involved residential sprinkler systems. Our busiest day found us responding to 12 calls for service. Thanks to our neighboring companies who responded into our first due when the dispatch required and thanks to our members for fulfilling our motto of “Faithful to Duty”. Good job by all.
