On Thursday March 12th, Company 1 along with Companies 19, and 59 were dispatched to the area of the Flooring Max, 40965 Merchants Lane for the reported Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries. Squad 1 (Lt. Wathen) responded with 5 personal. Dispatch advised units responding they received reports of 2 vehicles in the southbound lanes. Ambulance 597 returning to quarters at the time of dispatch and was first to arrive on scene. Shortly after Squad 1 arrived on scene reporting 2 vehicles in the roadway. Ambulance 597 had already begun patient care on 2 occupants of the vehicle. Squad 1's crew assisted in patient care along with cleaning debris, and fluid from the vehicles involved. Units operated on scene for just under an hour and returned to service.
