Afternoon Collision at Third Base

At 1634 Company 1 and EMS Companies 19, 59, 29 and 79 were dispatched to the area of Third Base Store, 28085 Point Lookout Road for the reported Motor Vehicle Accident. Shortly after dispatch Squad 1 (Lt. Wathen) and Engine 11 (Capt. Bell) made the response with a total of 8 volunteers. Squad 1 arrived on scene finding two vehicles, one off the roadway and established the Loveville command. The Squad and Engine crews went to work stabilizing the vehicles and assessing the patients. Crews discovery both vehicles had single patients and command held the assignment with two ambulances. Crews remained on the scene securing the vehicles and assisting with patient care, command was then terminated and units returned to service shortly after.
