Shortly after dispatch Engine 11 (Lt. Trossbach) made the response. Engine 11’s crew advanced an attack line to the front door of the establishment where they were met by smoke coming from inside the building. Entry was made to the building and the smoke was discovered to be coming from the bathroom within the establishment. The crew further investigated and discovered an exhaust fan in the bathroom had malfunction and charged the building with smoke.

Crews inside (Engine 11, Engine 74) opened up the bathroom to check for extension with negative results. Command held the assignment with units operating on the scene.
