The Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department is seeking firefighters, emergency medical technicians & administrative members. Training is provided and the benefits are great.

Getting started with the Leonardtown Vol. Fire Department

General Requirements 

• At least 13 years of age to join

• No training required 

• Complete application below

Probationary Member Requirements 

• At least 16 years of age to join as Probationary Member

• No training required for new members

• Complete application to include full criminal background check

• Completion of pre-basic training after membership approved

• Completion of Firefighter I within 12 months of membership

• Attendance at monthly meetings and occasional special events
