On Monday December 4th at 1720 hours, Company 5, Squad 5, Squad 1, EMS Companies 59, 19, 29 and ALS were alerted for a reported serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Colton Point Road at Hurry Road. Communications Initially received reports of a vehicle and tractor trailer with one overturned. Chief 5 arrived to find a pick up truck pulling a trailer and another truck involved. A member of Company 59 was on scene and requested a helicopter for one of the patients.

Squad 1 assisted Squad 5 with securing the vehicles and assisted with patient care. Ambulances 597, 598 and 299 all treated patients along with Medic 1. Engine 51 handled the landing zone for Trooper 2 just past the accident scene as the Squad's blocked all traffic. Two patients were flown from the scene by Trooper 2, with one patient being ground transported to Medstar St. Mary's Hospital.
