By Fire Chief Chris Bell
April 21, 2021

At 1654 hours Engine 10 (5 personal), and Truck 1 (3 personal) were alerted to the 22000 block of Goddard Ct for a reported townhouse fire. Engine 10 initiated a supply lay from Goodard ct and Connelly st, for the 2nd due engine. Engine 10 arrived on the scene with a 2 story middle of the group townhouse with nothing evident from side alpha. Engine 10’s crew deployed an 1.75 handline through the front door locating a small kitchen fire with extension. Truck 1 arrived on location assisting with checking for extension and ventilation. Engine 10’s officer established the Leonardtown command, advising St. Mary’s to operate with first engine and first truck. Minor extension was found, and the assignment was held with Company 1 units only. No injuries were reported.
