Rescue Squad 1 (5 personnel), Engine 10 (4 personnel), and Chief 1 responded to Budds Creek Rd and Bayside Rd for the reported vehicle into a pole. Units arrived on scene finding a single vehicle off the road. Passerby citizens asssit the patient out of the vehicle before units arrived. Due to the incline and the location of the patient, Rescue Squad 1 utilized Res-Q-jack struts to stablize the vehicle, until EMS were able to stabilize the patient. Engine 10 established a clear landing area for trooper 7. The patient was flown to a local trauma center. Chief 1 held the Budds Creek Rd command.
